This bakery is cheap, delicious, and expansive. The selections is superb, and it's extremely easy to browse the items and choose to your liking. On top of this, the tray method of obtaining the items is fun. However, the real reason for the five stars is the taste, coupled with extremely cheap prices. My god, I've never been to a bakery with better items for such a cheap price. This is my first yelp review ever, so it just goes to show how much I fell in love with this place over the course of my time in Chicago.

Pros: everything Cons: nothing First visit around 9 pm (open until 930pm-score, how many bakeries open this late?!)...huge selection and even at this hour they were fully stocked and all fresh! Very affordable prices-2 pieces cake, cupcake and 2 elephant ears was $8! Sweet women working and items were packaged beautiful for travel. Will definitely be back and highly recommend-everything was delicious!

Great local corner bakery that smells delicious at all hours of the day. There's good variety and although I don't know the exact prices of the breads, it's so cheap! I got a concha, strawberry filled pastry and something like a danish for 2.27! I also love that it's open late, I believe at least until 9pm bc usually that's when l drop by when my sweet tooth strikes! The lady at the register is also super nice. I only knock off a star because there aren't any signs so I can never tell what any of the pastries are filled with.

I spend $6 in mexican sweet bread Conchas Borrachos Pan con mantequilla Pan con queso They also have coffee to go

I don't understand how their aren't more reviews about this place. Fresh Latin American pastries baked every morning for a reasonable price. I always make a stop here during my visits.
